Akeyulerre Healing Centre, based in Mparntwe (Alice Springs) is proudly led by Arrernte people, working together to keep our families and communities strong by honouring, practicing and passing on our culture, healing and language.

We remain grounded in the respect we hold for this community and the legacy of the Elders and founding members. Their wisdom continues to guide our journey, inspiring us to persevere through challenges and to centre our work on healing, learning on-country, and strengthening families. Our programs give us focus and resources to work and achieve outcomes as directed by our Elders. Arrernte people come together at the Healing Centre and on country, undertaking activities that promote and support culture, healing and wellbeing. All of what we do interconnects to strengthen our families and our culture.
Keeping Families Strong, Safe and Connected
Akeyulerre Family Support Services (FSS) is a culturally grounded, communityled program supporting families in Mparntwe (Alice Springs) and surrounds to keep children safe, connected to culture, and thriving at home. We work alongside families in Alice Springs and surrounding communities— including Amoonguna, Atitjere, Ltyentye Apurte (Santa Teresa), Titjikala, and Ti Tree—offering practical support that builds parenting skills, strengthens family functioning, and promotes child wellbeing. Your kind donation will help Akeyulerre continue its important work supporting Arrernte communities and families.
